Ecocare Environmental Conservation is a Ugandan non-profit organization dedicated to the intersection of environmental sustainability and community well-being. We work directly with rural and urban communities to address the most pressing challenges facing our people and our planet.

Our integrated approach recognizes that a healthy environment is fundamental to healthy communities. By combining conservation efforts with health initiatives, we create sustainable, lasting change.

Our Mission

To conserve and restore the environment, promote sustainable development and protect the rights and welfare of vulnerable populations through education, advocacy and community-led initiatives.

Our Vision

A Uganda where communities thrive in harmony with nature and all individuals especially women and children live in a safe, healthy and sustainable environment.

Our Goal

To promote a healthy and sustainable environment, protect vulnerable populations and empower communities in Uganda through integrated environmental conservation, education and social welfare initiatives.

Main Objective

To protect and conserve local biodiversity by working to restore and maintain natural habitats, promoting sustainable land use practices and advocating for endangered species. This involves creating wildlife corridors, conducting habitat restoration projects and raising awareness about the importance of biodiversity.
