On 21 February 2026, Ecocare Environmental Conservation held a community engagement at Auntie Ruth Primary School, Kirimya TC, Masaka City, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thirty-five participants (27 men, 8 women) attended the workshop themed "PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT SECURING OUR FUTURE."

Ecocare presented on causes and local impacts of climate change and practical conservation actions—tree planting, waste management, water conservation, and sustainable land use. The event included memorial tree plantings by the Kirimya ward youth leader and the Stanbic Bank Masaka branch manager, and concluded with a group photo with Connecting Youths Life Foundation Uganda.

Ecocare thanked participants, local leaders, and partners and urged continued community action to safeguard the environment.

On 21 March 2026 at Mukungwe Ggombolola Hall in Samaliya Ward, Nyendo Mukungwe, Masaka City, and on 18 March 2026 at Kabasegwa Village in Diwolobo Parish, Lyantonde Sub-county, Lyantonde District, Ecocare Environmental Conservation held back-to-back community empowerment workshops under the theme "PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT SECURING OUR FUTURE."

Both half-day events (9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) brought together local residents—25 participants in Samaliya (7 women, 18 men) and 22 in Diwolobo (5 women, 17 men)—to learn about the causes and local impacts of climate change and practical measures they can adopt, including tree planting, responsible waste management, water conservation, and climate-smart land use.

The trainings fostered dialogue between youth, community leaders and partners, reinforced the importance of community-led conservation actions, and underscored Ecocare's call for continued collective effort to safeguard the environment for present and future generations.

On 18th April 2026 at Kitambuza Primary School in Senya ward, Kimaanya-Kabonera division, Masaka city, Ecocare Environmental Conservation held a workshop empowering communities on environmental conservation and tree planting through the theme "PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT SECURING OUR FUTURE."

The activity brought together local residents—45 participants in Senya ward (25 women, 20 men)—to learn about the causes and local impacts of climate change and practical measures they can adopt, including tree planting, responsible waste management, water conservation, and climate-smart land use.

The trainings fostered dialogue between youth, community leaders and partners, reinforced the importance of community-led conservation actions, and underscored Ecocare's call for continued collective effort to safeguard the environment for present and future generations.
